Chief Dream Navigator & Head of Camp - 11th Year Staff

Brandy has been a part of Camp T from the very beginning and has loved watching it grow into what it is today! She works at Camp T year round to make it the best it can be for our campers.

Founder & Chief Dreamer - 11th Year Staff

Lisa is so proud of what she has created at Camp Telaphiba, and loves sharing her passion for dance with staff and campers alike. She has 37 years of dance experience and 33 years of teaching experience, including choreographing for high school and college dance teams, and performing professionally with the Denver Nuggets, Denver Broncos, in a Las Vegas Revue and at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Lisa has owned dance studios for 23 years, and mentors dance studio owners nationwide with More Than Just Great Dancing.

Head of Camp - 7th Year Staff

Alexa thinks of Camp Telaphiba as a home away from home. She is originally from New York and has spent the last 10 years in Colorado. During the year, she is a school Speech Language Pathologist and choreographer. Her favorite dance styles are Musical Theatre and Jazz! 

Camp Nurse - 6th Year Staff

Nurse Shawna is mom of two, wife, and a Nurse of 17 years. Outside of dance camp, Nurse Shawna works at a level one Trauma Center in the Step Down/ICU. She enjoys traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, and being her kids biggest cheerleader in everything they do. Nurse Shawna absolutely loves making sure your kiddos stay healthy and safe at camp.

Camp Counselor - 5th Year Staff

Clare is from Illinois and graduated from llinois State University as a dance education major. This will be her tenth year attending Camp Telaphiba. She was introduced to camp by Miss Pam Simpson and fell in love, and was a camper for 6 years before she becoming a CIT, and then a camp counselor!

Camp Counselor / Keeper - 5th Year Staff

Originally from Illinois, Madison is a dancer, teacher and aspiring choreographer. She graduated from Chapman University where she double majored in dance and communication studies. After college, she plans to move to California to pursue a career in commercial dance.

Camp Counselor / Keeper - 4th Year Staff

Kaleigh is from the Chicagoland area of Illinois. She currently attends the University of South Alabama as a biomedical major. Kaleigh is on her college dance team and teaches at a local dance studio. She has attended camp for the last eight years, first as a camper and then a CIT!

Camp Counselor - 4th Year Staff

Payton is from Texas and has been dancing for 19 years! This summer will be her tenth year at camp. Payton graduated from Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas, where she danced on the dance team and graduated with honors with an associates degree!

Camp Counselor - 3rd Year Staff

Claire was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ and graduated with her BFA in dance at the University of Arizona (bear down!). Claire has been teaching dance for five years, and is happy her career has led her to Camp Telaphiba!

Camp Counselor - 3rd Year Staff

Miranda is from Phoenix, Arizona. She has been dancing for 22 years and teaching for 7. Her favorite styles are Jazz and Contemporary. She is incredibly excited to combine her passions of dance and the outdoors at Camp Telaphiba this summer!

Camp Counselor - 2nd Year Staff

Ada is from St. Charles, IL and currently attends The University of Kentucky. She loves teaching dance, with Jazz being her favorite style. Ada has been a part of camp for nine years now—starting as a camper, then as a CIT, and now a counselor. She is so excited to continue growing with camp and creating an unforgettable experience for her campers the same way she had growing up at Camp T!
